Don't Contest for Second Term-Cleric to President

Image
President Ahmed Tinubu has been advised not to run for a second term in office in 2027 as Nigeria President. The President and Founder of Clear Revelation Ministry, Apostle Jeremiah Oluwarotimi Adeyeye gave this advice on Wednesday during a Press Conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo state council, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''1) God's message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also some advice to him, God a showed me that he did not finish in office, if he is lucky to finish this tenure as God revealed, he should not clamor to contest for a second term because God's word always stands. He should go back home to atone for all what he has done and seek the face of the almighty God, but if he insists on going for a second term, after luckily finishing this term, that means that what he luckily escaped in his first term in office will surely happen during the second term. God's word always stands.'' Apostle Adeyeye stated.  Similarly, the man of God al...

The Seductive Powers-That-Be

Image
Let us avoid the painful choices between good and evil, then we will be liberated from the struggle against the seductive powers-that-be(whatever they are in our situation).  Mark 1:12-15 12 And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness. 13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him. 14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying,  The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

UCH Re-absorbs Workers not paid for over three years

Image
Workers of the University College(UCH) Ibadan Nigeria whose salaries were stopped for over three years have been reintegrated into the hospital's payroll. Some of the workers who displayed their new appointment letters expressed joy while recounting the difficult times they had passed through because their salaries were stopped. ''We thank God that we have been re-integrated into the payroll of the UCH. We were not paid for over three years and during that period we were unable to meet our obligations to our families and relations. We thank God,'' they stated. In his reaction, the chairman of the Non Academic Staff Union and Associated Institutions(NNASU), Comrade Kehinde Abiona disclosed that the problem revolved around the non-recognition of their employment by the office of the Head of Service of the Federation. Comrade Abiona further stated that only financial members of the union were bonafide members. ''The good news is that many of them who have not...

The Incorruptible

Image
Freedom is credibly obtained through devoted service and self-discipline and not by license. 1 Corinthians 9:19-25 19 For though I be free from all  men , yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. 20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; 21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all  men , that I might by all means save some. 23 And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with  you . 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they  do it  to o...

Workers Welfare : Michael Imoudu As A Role Model 1

Image
The activities of Labour leaders today are the raging debate among workers in Nigeria. Workers express sadness and worry over the way their leaders handle issues concerning them.  While the workers continue to wallow in the vicious cycle of poverty, hunger and worry, their leaders insist that they should be patient and show understanding with the government.  The agility and activeness of labor leaders of the present time is determined by the political class and not by the deteriorating condition of workers in the country.  Up till this moment, the name Michael Athokhamien Imoudu, represents a good example of a labor leader with a difference within the Nigerian territory and has continued to serve as a source of inspiration for the present set of labor leaders.  Perhaps, Imoudu was born on 7 September 1902, to a soldier who had fought in East Africa. His upbringing resulted into his fearless personality.  He did not have a fear of witches or wizards, mast...

Oyo Government not taking our welfare seriously-Health Workers

Image
Some health workers in Oyo state have expressed reservations over the continued delay of the state government to meet their demands. The health workers, who are members of the Nigeria Union of Allied Health Professionals(NUAHP), Hospital Management Board unit, lamented that the state government ''is not taking our welfare seriously.'' ''The state government has continued to treat health workers on its payroll with levity. We are not happy about this, the government should urgently address our demands, they stated. However, the chairman of the unit, Comrade Olanrewaju Ajani disclosed that of all the demands of the health workers, the state government had only reviewed the hazard allowance. ''Before the 21-day ultimatum we gave the state government on 4th March 2024 elapsed, the government appealed to us to be patient. We appeal to the state government to do something on time. We have provided enough evidence. It is only the hazard allowance that has bee...

Setting the Oppressed Free

The leadership are responsible for the  millions of people who are still economically exploited, while greed and selfishness remain the creed. Devotional practices contradicted by the neglect of the poor are not of God. Isaiah 58:1-10

A Covenant-Keeping God

Image
The ground of hope is that all people will know justice, peace and security. The people's hope rests in God, a covenant-keeping God of mercy and love. Amos 9:11-15 11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this. 13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt. 14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit  them ; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. 15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be p...

The Reign of Criminality and Impunity in Ibadan Communities

Image
The relevant law enforcement agencies are well aware of the reign of crime and criminality at Molusi, Solanke, Oyegbami, Olorunsogo, Molete, Oshodi, Aluko, Scout camp, Felele and several other communities in Ibadan, Oyo state.  But probably due to the involvement of some of the law enforcement agents with the cultists who perpetrate heinous and grievous crimes, little or nothing has been done to reverse the worrisome situation.  Of worry, is the activities of young boys between the ages of 7 to 18 years old, who converge at a green building just after Femola bus-stop, Olorunsogo, Molete. These boys dispossess passerby of their valuables daily, along the path to city link hotel in the community. This is with the knowledge of the adults in the community. This is even if there are several unreported heart rendering cases.  Since the law enforcement agencies have the responsibility to ensure the safety of lives and property, the unending reign of terror by these cultists, who...
