Don't Contest for Second Term-Cleric to President

Image
President Ahmed Tinubu has been advised not to run for a second term in office in 2027 as Nigeria President. The President and Founder of Clear Revelation Ministry, Apostle Jeremiah Oluwarotimi Adeyeye gave this advice on Wednesday during a Press Conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo state council, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''1) God's message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also some advice to him, God a showed me that he did not finish in office, if he is lucky to finish this tenure as God revealed, he should not clamor to contest for a second term because God's word always stands. He should go back home to atone for all what he has done and seek the face of the almighty God, but if he insists on going for a second term, after luckily finishing this term, that means that what he luckily escaped in his first term in office will surely happen during the second term. God's word always stands.'' Apostle Adeyeye stated.  Similarly, the man of God al...

The Adventures of the Powerful

Image
The action and inaction of state governors in Nigeria have for long been trailed by a plethora of promises. Even though a number of them are not foundation members of the parties in question, they were given the opportunity to ascend the exalted position. Donate Sadly, they have destroyed these political parties. The results of the ward, Local Government and State Primaries were manipulated to satisfy the self-centered interests of these State Governors. Interestingly, consensus has replaced election, to the chagrin of the people. This abnormality revolves around greed. Indeed, in the present time, the party leadership is now vested in the affected state Governors while the party Chairmen have since become ceremonial heads. These state governors are now in full control of the structures at the national, state, local government and ward levels. Most of the political parties have been decapitated, while delegates who elected candidates for various political offices were strictly the choi...

We are God's creation

Image
Donate Our bodies are miracles of God's creation, the temple of His spirit and the work of His hands. God made us body, mind and spirit.  Hosea 4:11 5:1-3 Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart. 12 My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused  them  to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. 13 They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof  is  good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. 14 I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people  that  doth not understand shall fall. 15 Though thou, Israel, play the harlot,  yet  let not Judah offend; and come no...

The National Debt

Image
Nigeria's chronic budget deficit has brought about an unhindered increase in the national debt. Indeed, the multiple taxation by the government at all levels may now be too embarrassing for an economy that majorly revolves around the motive of personal gain. Without doubt, the redistribution of disposable income from the well-to-do to the indigent would increase the average propensity to consume, since the marginal propensity of the indigent to consume is higher than that of the well-to-do. Sadly, this approach is not in the thoughts of the government, although the budget deficit may have stimulated private investments. The government ought to cut down on expenditure on political office holders. However, in view of the fact that the economy is ailing, the government at all levels must be decisive and proactive in interventions in health, transport, electricity, unemployment, hunger and poverty. Of course, the protection of sectors such as education, health and agriculture which hav...

A Troubled Nation

Image
God is ignored, persecution takes the place of justice, lying and perjury in place of the truth, adultery in place of fidelity and violence in place of kindness. These are all attributes of a troubled nation. Let us pray to the Lord to take pity on us and give us leaders of integrity, priests of holiness and open our closed and greedy hearts to the redeeming power of His word. Hosea 4:1-10 1 Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because  there is  no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. 2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood. 3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away. 4 Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people  are  as they th...

Remain Calm and Law Abiding-Comrade Emelieze to ASCSN members

Image
Members of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria(ASCSN) in tjhe Ministries Departments and Agencies have been called upon to remain calm and law-abiding. This call was made by the former chairman of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''Ever since the delay in the delivery of the judgment on the ASCSN leadership crisis matter before the National Industrial Court, members of the association have remained disturbed and worried. However, they should remain ca;lm and law-abiding as we await the decision of the court. The Judiciary still remains the last hope of ordinary Nigerians,'' Comrade Emelieze noted. A moderate standard of learning must include the ability of a child to be able to spell ordinary words, correctly to write legibly and intelligently, to make out or check a common bill, to have sufficient geographical knowledge to know the position of the countries of the world and, above all, to be sufficiently...

Unimpressive Attitude

Image
In every part of Nigeria today, most children leave school without attaining these standards. The present system of education at all levels of government is not only bad for the children but also for the teachers. The teaching profession has been debased by the government and the unimpressive attitude of the teachers. Parents have a major duty to their children, but most parents habitually neglect this major duty. Untrained teachers and bad methods of teaching, projects by contractors that were not inspected with adequate motive, un-revised or ill-revised policies and the complete absence of all organizations of schools in relation to one another constitute an unspecified number of evils of public and private schools in Nigeria. The allocations in the budgets of the Federal and State governments over the years to the education sector has had little or no impact on the sector.

Sowing vegetables is a mockery of Nigeria's precarious situation-Comrade Emelieze

Image
The garden initiative introduced by the First lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has exposed the questionable mindset of those in leadership positions in the present dispensation. This assertion was made by a former chairman of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''Millions of Nigerians are dying on a daily basis of hunger and poverty. Those who cannot withstand the hardships are committing suicide. The First lady, Senator Oulremi Tinubu, believes that the planting of vegetables is the way to go, but that is wrong. The present situation in the country has gone beyond planting vegetables in a garden.  This initiative is a mockery of the very dangerous situation, which has so far defied all soltuions put forward by the government at all levels,'' Comrade Emelieze stated.

The Good Shepherd

Image
Let us give thanks to the Lord for counting us one of His sheep and also pray to Him to teach us to count better, like Him.  John 10:7-18 7Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep...
