The Power of God to Salvation

Image
Join solomon2day@Gumroad The word of God has tremendous power. The first time on record God spoke, He created light (Gen. 1:3). He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. The Reign of Criminality and Impunity in Ibadan Communities

TOP 25 CRIME RATES QUOTES (of 52) | A-Z Quotes

The relevant law enforcement agencies are well aware of the reign of crime and criminality at Molusi, Solanke, Oyegbami, Olorunsogo, Molete, Oshodi, Aluko, Scout camp, Felele and several other communities in Ibadan, Oyo state.

But probably due to the involvement of some of the law enforcement agents with the cultists who perpetrate heinous and grievous crimes, little or nothing has been done to reverse the worrisome situation.

Of worry, is the activities of young boys between the ages of 7 to 18 years old, who converge at a green building just after Femola bus-stop, Olorunsogo, Molete. These boys dispossess passerby of their valuables daily, along the path to city link hotel in the community.

This is with the knowledge of the adults in the community.

This is even if there are several unreported heart rendering cases.

Since the law enforcement agencies have the responsibility to ensure the safety of lives and property, the unending reign of terror by these cultists, who openly threaten to kill those who question their activities, leaves much to be desired-a point of reference is one 'Samba', a barber, whose barbing shop is among the block of shops located in front of a building at the Aluko/Barracks, Felele/Scout camp/Oshodi Street junction.

He openly threatens to kill people while at the same time boasting of his connection with some officers and the rank and file of the Police.

Opposition to their activities is met with attacks and threats by the hoodlums,''Go and call your police.''

Indeed, owners of beer parlors, Ogogoro joints, hotels, and a sizable number of shops in these communities are ready accomplices of these cultists in these communities.
