Don't Contest for Second Term-Cleric to President

Image
President Ahmed Tinubu has been advised not to run for a second term in office in 2027 as Nigeria President. The President and Founder of Clear Revelation Ministry, Apostle Jeremiah Oluwarotimi Adeyeye gave this advice on Wednesday during a Press Conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo state council, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''1) God's message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also some advice to him, God a showed me that he did not finish in office, if he is lucky to finish this tenure as God revealed, he should not clamor to contest for a second term because God's word always stands. He should go back home to atone for all what he has done and seek the face of the almighty God, but if he insists on going for a second term, after luckily finishing this term, that means that what he luckily escaped in his first term in office will surely happen during the second term. God's word always stands.'' Apostle Adeyeye stated.  Similarly, the man of God al...

Nigeria is good at formulating policies-Education Commissioner

Image
The government at all levels in Nigeria is confronted with the major challenge of the implementation of well-formulated policies. This assertion was made on Thursday by the Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology in Oyo State, Prof. Salihu Abdulwaheed Adelabu, at a one-day stakeholders' engagement meeting on the implementation of the National Education Quality Assurance Policy (NEQAP) in Ibadan, Nigeria. ''What are we implementing?'' Nigeria is good at formulating policies. We formulate very good policies, and for other countries, but implementation is the problem. How are we standardizing our education policy issues? We want our children to access quality qualityeducation, there is no way they can access quality education without a good quality assurance policy,'' the commissioner stated. Prof. Adelabu noted that academic qualifications alone were not enough to become a class teacher, saying, "Having an NCE or BSc. is not enough to beco...

We are Heavily taxed by the government-Federal workers

Image
Workers in Nigeria have raised alarm over the unfair taxation of their monthly salaries by the federal and state governments. The workers under the aegis of the Federal Workers Forum (FWF) raised this alarm in a letter titled PROTEST AGAINST EXPLOITATION OF WORKERS BY THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT, THE COMPROMISE OF LABOR UNIONS, AND NOTIFICATIONS FOR INDEFINITE PROTEST FROM 22ND APRIL 2025 BY FEDERAL WORKERS, addressed to the International Labour Organization (ILO) and signed by the National Coordinator (FWF), Comrade Andrew Emelieze, and Secretary General, Comrade Itoro Obong. "Federal workers" salaries and ALLOWANCES are equally heavily taxed, and no tax rebate or certificate is issued to the workers at the end of the year. Despite the poor national minimum wage, the federal government in Nigeria has continued to owe federal workers lots of arrears of allowances, promotion arrears, hazard allowances, duty tour allowance (DTA), etc. This we have seen leading to agitations amon...

Our God enriches us with His grace

Image
Our God enriches us with His grace, demands some work from us, and ensures that no harm befalls us as His willing subjects. Our God of all time, all places, and all people moves ahead of tradition and popular expectations. Read Isaiah 45:1-7 The Local Scene- Muhammadu Marwa Maitatsine was from Jappai village in Northern Cameroon. Maitatsine, a Mufu by tribe, became a Muslim in 1940. The tradition of the ethnic group revolved around human sacrifice and superstition. Maitatsine's followers, then, were young people, initiated into the group through the consumption of hypnotized concoctions. This brought in its wake violent crimes, an aberration to all right-thinking mortals. Sadly, the disturbing trend and source of inspiration of these criminals emanate from the heavy reliance of the leadership at the different levels of government on outlawed substances, in desperate attempts to hold on to political power. Very disturbing.
