God teaches us clearly from the Scriptures to respect and submit to leaders both secular and sacred as those He has placed over us for our own good. Provided such leaders are from God.  Leaders in the Local government, state and nation ought to be worthy leaders for the people to submit to them. 1 Corinthians 9:19-25

19For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
