The Mao Zedong Model

  Mao Zedong, popularly known as Chairman Mao, was successful with his noble goals for China through despotic means. His leadership was severe, dictatorial and personalized. For as long as Chairman Mao's Cultural Revolution lasted, thousands of Chinese died of starvation and inhuman labor. Mao and his co-travelers argued that the same was the price their people had to pay for re-education. This brand of governance ensured the extermination of the heroes of the civil war and the old party chieftains by the President's armed squad. Chairman Mao is perhaps the role model of those who hold sway in Nigeria today. Indeed, some state governors, are  among several other political office holders, who adore the President. The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people. They take from the poor to enrich themselves. This is not the promise they made. Of great worry, is the naked fact that they are now very desperate to cling to transient power.
