The Power of God to Salvation

  Join solomon2day@Gumroad The word of God has tremendous power. The first time on record God spoke, He created light (Gen. 1:3). He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. Government has devalued the lives of poor Nigerians

  The lives of millions of poor Nigerians have continued to deteriorate without reprieve as a result of the people-unfriendly policies of the present administrations at the center and in the states. This view was expressed by a former chairman of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''The removal of the fuel subsidy by the government at the onset of this dispensation has brought about hunger and hardships for millions of poor Nigerians. The government increased electricity tariffs when millions of Nigerians are still paying for darkness. Presently the Premium Motor Spirit is in short supply and Nigerians are passing through heart-rendering experiences to make ends meet, while certain individuals in the labor unions are busy feathering their own nests. The government at all levels have devalued the lives of Nigerians.  The present situation is a bad omen for the government,'' Comrade Emelieze stated.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
