I believe that 2025 will be a better year for Nigerians-Ladoja
A former Oyo state Governor Senator Rashidi Ladoja has expressed the hopes that 2025 will be a better year for Nigerians. Senator Ladoja made this known on Wednesday in an interaction with journalists at his Ondo street, Bodija, Ibadan, Nigeria residence. ''We thank God that all of us kept the holy month holy. It is a month of prayers, a time that we help one another. Those who do not have, God will provide for them. The period of abundance will come. Remember the seven years of famine and the seven years of abundance. I believe next year will be better for us. All our leaders are committed to a Nigeria that is safe, a Nigeria where there is abundance,'' Senator Ladoja stated.
I will call another meeting when....-Ladoja
The Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rashidi Ladoja has insisted that as the most senior in the hierarchy of ascension, he ought to convene meetings of the council. Senator Ladoja made this revelation on Tuesday at the Oja'oba palace of the Olubadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. He had arrived the meeting venue a few mintues pat 11.00 O'clock in the morning, and left minutes after 12 midday. '' I am supposed to be the convener of the meeting. I called them, and they told me that the Kabiyesi designate had not spoken to them. When they are ready, I will call another meeting,'' Senator Ladoja stated.

''We thank God for witnessing Eid, we pray that we will celebrate more Eids. I will plead with wealthy Nigerians to share with the poor the things they have to celebrate. The times are hard. Let us extend our hands of fellowship to others. I wish Nigerians Barka De Sallah. He expressed confidence that the present administration would make a positive impact, saying ''all of us know that we need to readjust and rejig Nigeria. It is now a question of how to redistribute wealth. We assume that he knows what he is doing and he will do well. We will get there.''

Oyo Government not taking our welfare seriously-Health Workers
Some health workers in Oyo state have expressed reservations over the continued delay of the state government to meet their demands. The health workers, who are members of the Nigeria Union of Allied Health Professionals(NUAHP), Hospital Management Board unit, lamented that the state government ''is not taking our welfare seriously.'' ''The state government has continued to treat health workers on its payroll with levity. We are not happy about this, the government should urgently address our demands, they stated. However, the chairman of the unit, Comrade Olanrewaju Ajani disclosed that of all the demands of the health workers, the state government had only reviewed the hazard allowance.
