Don't Contest for Second Term-Cleric to President

Image
President Ahmed Tinubu has been advised not to run for a second term in office in 2027 as Nigeria President. The President and Founder of Clear Revelation Ministry, Apostle Jeremiah Oluwarotimi Adeyeye gave this advice on Wednesday during a Press Conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo state council, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''1) God's message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also some advice to him, God a showed me that he did not finish in office, if he is lucky to finish this tenure as God revealed, he should not clamor to contest for a second term because God's word always stands. He should go back home to atone for all what he has done and seek the face of the almighty God, but if he insists on going for a second term, after luckily finishing this term, that means that what he luckily escaped in his first term in office will surely happen during the second term. N10b Villa Solar Energy-Power Sector in Distress-Comrade Emelieze

Image
The desire of the occupants of the presidential villa to convert to solar energy is a pointer to the troubled state of the power sector. This assertion was made by the National Coordinator of the Federal Workers(FWF), Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''Those in the Aso Rock villa are very fortunate. They can never reason like millions of Nigerians; that is why they are desirous to convert to solar energy at a cost of N10 billion, even though the Federal Government is yet to offset the approximately 4.7 trillion naira owed to electricity generation companies. This is an indication that the power sector is already a failure, but all this while, the government has been deceiving Nigerians. The government and its advisers, without doubt, are overwhelmed by the multifarious challenges bedeviling Nigeria. Rather than come out plain to Nigerians that they have run out of ideas, they have continued to beautify and glorify failures.'' Comrade Emelieze noted. The Local Scene The dismal r...

The Gospel

Image
The Gospel challenges accepted values, accepted traditions and accepted visions of God. A New Beginning starts from here It seeks to explain illness not as a punishment, but an opportunity for grace. It also perceives the Sabbath not to be an imprisonment  of humanity, but a day of freedom and the poor not as an underdog, but the friend of Abraham.  The Gospel asserts that the cross is not the end of a criminal, but the throne of God's love. Read Acts 14:1-7 The Local Scene The constitution created the Legislature  to serve as a credible check to the executive at all levels of government from relapsing into excesses. Events are still proving that this is regrettably not the case in Nigeria, particularly in this dispensation. Sadly, the principal officers who have decided to remain on the side of the executive at the center and the states, keep mute in the face of constitutional breaches. Leadership ought to be visionary and sensitive to the expectations of the citi...
