The crisis that has persisted for so long revolves around self-interest and greed. This call was made by a former chairman of the ASCSN in Oyo state, who is also a former chairman of the Trade Union Congress(TUC) in the state, Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''We call on the reinstated president of the association to go on and carry out reforms that will transform the association to meet the needs of the suffering members of the association. The case with suit No. NICN/ABJ/69/2022 is before the President of the NICN, Hon. Justice B.B Kanyip, PhD FNIALS. Prior to the enactment of the Constitution (third alteration) Act, 2010, National Industrial Court was established by the Trade Dispute Decree, 1976, where matters relating to labour, trade union dispute, employment, conditions of service, welfare of employees were adjudicated upon.
