Don't Contest for Second Term-Cleric to President

Image
President Ahmed Tinubu has been advised not to run for a second term in office in 2027 as Nigeria President. The President and Founder of Clear Revelation Ministry, Apostle Jeremiah Oluwarotimi Adeyeye gave this advice on Wednesday during a Press Conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oyo state council, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''1) God's message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and also some advice to him, God a showed me that he did not finish in office, if he is lucky to finish this tenure as God revealed, he should not clamor to contest for a second term because God's word always stands. He should go back home to atone for all what he has done and seek the face of the almighty God, but if he insists on going for a second term, after luckily finishing this term, that means that what he luckily escaped in his first term in office will surely happen during the second term. God's word always stands.'' Apostle Adeyeye stated.  Similarly, the man of God al...

Good News

Image
We should pray to God to guide us in all our conversations, to speak words of hope and encouragement to others, and teach us how to listen for good news. John 4:27-42 27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. 31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto them,  I have meat to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him  ought  to eat? 34 Jesus saith unto them,  My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and  then  cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Li...

Suspended Hunger and Hardships Protests only attracted Government's attention-UI Lecturer

Image
The two day protests called by the Nigeria Labor Congress(NLC) that was abruptly suspended only attracted the attention of the Federal government. This assertion was made by Dr. Francis Amenaghawon of the Department of Communication and Language Arts of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''For me, the suspended protests called by the Nigeria Labor Congress had no impact on the daily lives of Nigerians because it did not change anything, but it has only drawn the attention of the Federal government to the worsening social, economic and security situation in the country,'' Dr. Amnenaghawon stated

Confession of Sin

Image
Pray to God to enable you to realize that you are one of the many needing His forgiveness. Pray quietly and humbly,. without the traces of arrogance and hypocrisy. Mark 1:4-11 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. 5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins. 6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey; 7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. 8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. 9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. 10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a ...

TUC has no excuse not to join Protests-Federal Workers

Image
The Federal Workers Forum has disclosed that the Forum joined the two day nationwide protest called  by the Nigeria Labor Congress(NLC) as a result of the reactionary posture of the leadership Trade Union Congress(TUC). This disclosure was made on Tuesday by the National coordinator of the Federal Workers Forum(FWF) and a former chairman of the Oyo state council of the TUC, Comrade Andrew Emelieze during the protests  at the Federal secretariat, Ikolaba, Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.   Only five workers staged the peaceful protests at the entrance of the secretariat, a sizable number of other workers were at their  duty posts, while most of the workers stayed away from from work. ''To start with the TUC has no excuse whatsoever not to participate in the two day nationwide protests called by the NLC. The TUC is just giving flimsy excuses that does not hold water to justify the union's posture, and this is the major reason why the Federal Workers Forum dec...

Nigerians have Resorted to Protests against hunger and hardships in the Land-Comrade Emelieze

This assertion was made by a former chairman of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''Protests are natural and equally lawful, constitutional and legitimate. Protests is the only option open to distraught Nigerians in the face of acute hunger, poverty and hardships in the land.'' ''Labor is on the side of Nigerians, we urge all to be on the side of the people by rejecting hunger, poverty, unemployment and hardships in the land,'' Comrade Emelieze concluded.

Do not Preach to Please People

Image
During evangelism insults or physical attacks ought not to influence the message to avoid offending people. Let them know the ''uncomfortable words'', rather than the comfortable ones. 1Thessalonians 2:1-16 For yourselves, brethren, know our entrance in unto you, that it was not in vain: 2 But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention. 3 For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: 4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. 5 For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloke of covetousness; God is witness: 6 Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 7 But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse ...
