IIlegal Mining is Destructive-Security Chief

The Director of  the Department of State Services,Mr. John Macchim ( Fsi) has described illegal mining as a destructive act.

Mr. Macchim made this known on Tuesday at a stakeholders forum with theme, ''Illegal Mining  an Act of Sabotage,'' in Ibadan, Nigeria.

''Illegal mining will not  allow this country to grow, we will not allow ourselves to be destroyed by a few people who are giving them pittance to do it.''

''The security apparatus has placed a searchlight on those involved. If you are into mining you can leave that of illegal and go into that of the legal. When you see, you talk,'' he advised.
