The Power of God to Salvation

He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. Parents and guardians in Nigeria have been called upon to monitor and prevent their children and wards from going astray.

This call was made by the Provost of Lincoln International Theological College, Ibadan, Nigeria, Dr. Adebayo Lincoln.

''Parents and guardians should take the pains to monitor their children and wards, to prevent them from joining peer groups that would negatively influence them. They should groom them according to the  dictates of the Bible,'' Dr. Lincoln stated.
