A good leader takes responsibility

  Invest in this content  It takes an individual with divine courage to stand up in a crowd and take responsibility for wrongdoing while simultaneously make moves to correct the wrongdoing. Parents and guardians in Nigeria have been called upon to monitor and prevent their children and wards from going astray.

This call was made by the Provost of Lincoln International Theological College, Ibadan, Nigeria, Dr. Adebayo Lincoln.

''Parents and guardians should take the pains to monitor their children and wards, to prevent them from joining peer groups that would negatively influence them. They should groom them according to the  dictates of the Bible,'' Dr. Lincoln stated.

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
