Renewal of Spirit of the mind

The agony that sin brings into our lives is enormous and had numbing effect. It deadens our senses of touch with God and enables us to live without awareness of the ‘’injury and infection’’ that slowly damages our soul. Sin produces numbness in our spirit. In other words, we can actually be hurting-yet feel no pain. Let us pray for the Lord to give us a healthy hatred of sin. If we feel no pain when we sin, we are worse off than we realize. National I.D-Government should explain why Initial Project Failed-Comrade Emelieze.

The Federal Government must explain to Nigerians the reason why the first National Identity Card Project failed before embarking on another money-consuming project.

This assertion was made by a former chairman of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), Comrade Andrew Emelieze.

''Billions of Naira went into the first National Identity Card Project, and it was a failure. Before the Federal Government embarks on another waste of taxpayers' money, it should explain convincingly why the initial project failed.

This is not the time and dispensation to waste taxpayers' money on projects that have been designed to enrich their promoters, '' Comrade Emelieze warned.

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice.
