Syndicate steals IBEDC service wires from residence in Ibadan

A syndicate that specializes in the stealing of electric service wires from residential buildings now operates in Ibadan, Nigeria. The criminal group comprising some unscrupulous elements in the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) co-opted financially indisposed individuals to give out vital information that would be of mutual benefit. On Tuesday, 17 December, 2024, between 2:45 pm and 3:10 pm in the afternoon, a marketer and a technician, both workers of the IBEDC, stole the four service wires that supply electricity to the four apartments at No. 3 Kehinde Aderibigbe Street, Olorunsogo, Molete. Before the ugly act, the criminals had sat down and strategized at a shoemaker's shop at No. 6. The shoemaker had in turn entertained them. Miyetti Allah Leader's Alleged Confessions have exposed the Political Class-Comrade Emelieze


The alleged confessions of the national president of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Bello Bodejo has exposed the deep involvement of political office holders in Nigeria in violent crimes.

This assertion was made by a former chairman of the Oyo state council of the Trade Union Congress(TUC), Comrade Andrew Emelieze.

''The confessions of the Miyetti Allah leader have exposed the deep involvement of a number of political office holders in violent crimes. It is disturbing,'' Comrade Emelieze stated.

On January 23, 2024, the cattle breeders' leader was taken into custody for terrorism by operatives of the Defence Intelligence Agency, at the group’s secretariat in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State for allegedly forming a militia group.
