Renewal of Spirit of the mind

The agony that sin brings into our lives is enormous and had numbing effect. It deadens our senses of touch with God and enables us to live without awareness of the ‘’injury and infection’’ that slowly damages our soul. Sin produces numbness in our spirit. In other words, we can actually be hurting-yet feel no pain. Let us pray for the Lord to give us a healthy hatred of sin. If we feel no pain when we sin, we are worse off than we realize. Read Ephesians 4:17-24 The Legacy The signs are ominous and noticeable everywhere, those-in-charge at all levels of government are about to leave behind a legacy revolving around 1) Ignorance 2) Illiteracy 3) Indiscipline 4) Lawlessness 5) Criminality 6) Immorality 7) Profanity 8) Evil Violent crimes are now part of daily living. Wise Parents give their children very good upbringing-UI Lecturer

Parents and guardians in Nigeria have been advised to expose their children and wards to very good upbringing to aid their positive development. This advice was given on Thursday by Dr. Tunde Awosanmi at the maiden edition of an event tagged Nations Rhythm Festival at the Alliance Francaise center, Ibadan, Nigeria. ''Only parents who are wise will bring up their children very well. Your parents should give you a good experience for your development. Parents and guardians must bring up their children in the way of culture, in this lost world'', Dr. Awosanmi satd. In his remarks, the founder and artistic director, Mr. Olalekan Adedokun explained that the festival was organized to teach all that is, to learn about drums. Mr. Adedokun maintained that drums were also relevant in assuaging health conditions, while also stressing that they were a tool that created joy and happiness.'' Impacting Positively on the Younger Generation Parents and guardians in Olorunosogo, Molete, Molusi, Onafuwa Solanke, Oyegbami , oshodi, Scout camp, Aluko, Felele and several other communities in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria now openly identify with their children who are deeply involved in immorality, lawlessness and criminalty. This unfortunate development paints the major purpose of education in a very bad light and suggests that the leadership at all levels are leading by example. Interestingly, Those-in-charge have failed to impact positively on the lives of the younger generation.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
