Forgiveness

  Invest in this content Our God is very unpredictable. We are sinful and He is holy. Sin can no more exist in the presence of God than darkness can exist in the presence of light. To stand before Him in sin is to invite destruction. If God were to keep a record of our sins, we could not stand in His presence. God is honored and worshiped because He alone can clear our record. If God could not forgive us, we could only flee from Him in terror. Yet the God holiness threatens us is the God who through Christ redeems us. Our unpredictable God offers forgiveness for all our sins. Sins invites judgment; confession ensures forgiveness. We need only to ask for it. Are you forgiven? The Wages of Sin

We must pay the wage for our sin. If you continue to sin, you will pay the penalty of spiritual death: You will not only die physically; you will also die spiritually and be separated from our holy God for all eternity in hell. 1 John Chapter 1 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice.
