Renewal of Spirit of the mind

The agony that sin brings into our lives is enormous and had numbing effect. It deadens our senses of touch with God and enables us to live without awareness of the ‘’injury and infection’’ that slowly damages our soul. Sin produces numbness in our spirit. In other words, we can actually be hurting-yet feel no pain. Let us pray for the Lord to give us a healthy hatred of sin. If we feel no pain when we sin, we are worse off than we realize. Treat Nigerians with Human Face for God to Bless you-Cleric to Political Office Holders

Political office holders have been called upon to treat their fellow Nigerians with a touch of humanity, for God to bless their activities and works. This call was made by an Ibadan-based Christian cleric, Pastor Opeyemi Ajayi. ''Nigeria's leaders must start to treat their fellow Nigerians with a human face, by addressing the core causes of hunger, poverty and unemployment. This would go a long way in straightening the paths they thread for God to bless their activities and works. When they treat their fellow human beings very well, of course God will bless all they do,'' Pastor Ajayi noted.

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
