Announcement This is to announce the passing on to glory of the elder sister of the Founder and Editor-in-Chief, The New Federation(news2day.emyspot.com), Mrs. Victoria Adebisi Ande, which occurred in the first week of January,2026 in Jos, Plateau state. She is survived by her daughter, Joy, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. May her gentle soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen. Burial arrangements as announced by the family. Trust in God

We should always trust in God in the face of fear, pain and other life-threatening situations. Hosea 11:1-4

Lawmakers in both chambers of the National Assembly and the State Houses of Assembly have long ceased to represent the electorate in Nigeria. This assertion was made by the convener of the Federal Workers Forum, Comrade Andrew Emelieze.
