The Power of God to Salvation

  Join solomon2day@Gumroad The word of God has tremendous power. The first time on record God spoke, He created light (Gen. 1:3). He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. Hearts of Stone

Let us pray ceaselessly for those whose attitude is reminiscent of the hard-hearted Pharaoh of Egypt, for God to positively impact on their lives.

​Mark 3:1-6


1And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

2And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

3And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

4And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

5And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

6And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people. They take from the poor to enrich themselves. This is not the promise they made. Of great worry, is the naked fact that they are now very desperate to cling to transient power.
