Renewal of Spirit of the mind

The agony that sin brings into our lives is enormous and had numbing effect. It deadens our senses of touch with God and enables us to live without awareness of the ‘’injury and infection’’ that slowly damages our soul. Sin produces numbness in our spirit. In other words, we can actually be hurting-yet feel no pain. Let us pray for the Lord to give us a healthy hatred of sin. If we feel no pain when we sin, we are worse off than we realize. Read Ephesians 4:17-24 The Legacy The signs are ominous and noticeable everywhere, those-in-charge at all levels of government are about to leave behind a legacy revolving around 1) Ignorance 2) Illiteracy 3) Indiscipline 4) Lawlessness 5) Criminality 6) Immorality 7) Profanity 8) Evil Violent crimes are now part of daily living. Our love for God

The love for God is an indication that we always do what He wants. God wants us to love and respect each other and also to live together in peace.
But, unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case in this clime. However, an Ibadan-based Christian cleric, Pastor Opeyemi Ajayi, appeals to leaders and followers to love God in order to enable the fizzling out of the disturbing security, political, and economic situation everywhere. ''Our love for God should not wane or decline, as the love for God is the basis for addressing all challenges confronting humanity.'' Pastor Ajayi concluded. Read Deuteronomy 5: 16-21

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
