The Power of God to Salvation

  Join solomon2day@Gumroad The word of God has tremendous power. The first time on record God spoke, He created light (Gen. 1:3). He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. Our love for God

The love for God is an indication that we always do what He wants. God wants us to love and respect each other and also to live together in peace.
But, unfortunately, this does not seem to be the case in this clime. However, an Ibadan-based Christian cleric, Pastor Opeyemi Ajayi, appeals to leaders and followers to love God in order to enable the fizzling out of the disturbing security, political, and economic situation everywhere. ''Our love for God should not wane or decline, as the love for God is the basis for addressing all challenges confronting humanity.'' Pastor Ajayi concluded. Read Deuteronomy 5: 16-21

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
