A good leader takes responsibility

  Invest in this content  It takes an individual with divine courage to stand up in a crowd and take responsibility for wrongdoing while simultaneously make moves to correct the wrongdoing. A good example of such a leader is Ezra. He confronted the way and identified with the people, confessing the sin. The people will confidently and voluntarily follow leaders, who are willing and ready to take responsibility even in very bad situations. A good leader knows the way, shows the way and goes the way. False Doctrines

 False doctrines start with the misinterpretation of the word of God by people.

God gave us commandments to follow, but when we fail to follow them, there is a problem. We look for shortcuts to God, but there are no shortcuts to God.

You have to follow the teachings in the Bible. People are moving away from the teachings in the Bible as a result of false doctrines.

The devil is at work when a believer does not follow Jesus Christ. Most people tell so many lies to cover single lies.

That is the situation in Nigeria today.

The church knows the truth and the word of God, but so many refuse to follow the truth. So many have failed to live righteous lives.

The trend now is to brainwash and cajole people into slavery through signs, wonders, and miracles shown to them.

This replaces the word of God they ought to have been taught. They cajole and brainwash people to part with all they have through false doctrines.

The Local Scene

The mysterious deaths and killings that have become part of daily living in different parts of Nigeria call for concern.

Those in charge carry on as if all is well. But this is not the case.

Efforts should be made to reverse this ugly trend, while citizens embrace self-preservation as the most reliable rule.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice.
