The Reliance on Diabolism and Necromancy

 Forces of darkness manifested in diabolism, fetishes and necromancy are the major preoccupation of a sizable number of political exposed persons, most especially this period elections are around the corner.

This is unfortunate and disturbing considering the avoidable bloodshed in different parts of Nigeria.

From time immemorial the fear of God and constructive engagement have been the credible and reliable tools used to checkmate man’s inhumanity to his fellow man.

There abound worshipers and agents of evil everywhere.

The moment their oath is taken or an individual is brought before their shrines, the worshipers will contrive ways to poison or charm an individual so that such individual’s property (land, buildings, possessions, finances among others) will become theirs.

The agents of these shrines are mostly found among the lower wrung of the social ladder, while those they look up to are the wealthy.

Interestingly, those, as stipulated by the constitution, whose responsibility is to enforce the laws of the land and dispense justice have failed Nigerians and are unperturbed by the plight of Nigerians.

Depravity and callousness are now the trend.

The overhauling of these institutions which are primarily responsible for the enforcement of laws and the dispensation of justice is long overdue, but those-in-charge are benefitting immensely from their shortcomings and deficiencies.

Again, ignorance and illiteracy are clogs in the wheel of development, if the attitude and activities of the people are anything to go by.

Sadly, the structure of educational institutions, both public and private, litter different parts of the country, but have little impact on the students in terms of learning and orientation.

Rather, indiscipline, lawlessness, immorality among others, are the norms for students and teachers alike.
