During the reign of King Joash of Israel, the people were fortunate to witness the outcome of the taxes they paid.
Indeed, those who handled the money were trustworthy.
The money was used for its intended purpose.
Citizens who pay taxes expected that their money would be used for specific projects already lined up for their benefit.
So, if we are requested to handle funds from the highest level of government down to the grassroots, honesty must be our priority.
Integrity is what we gain by walking in the light of God; it is worth far more than precious gold.
Let us be resolute to do what is true and right.
