  Your teachings revolved around discipline, obedience, humility, transparency, integrity, honesty, firmness in the face of intimidation, threats and attacks, the rule of law and due process among several other guidelines for good and successful living. 8th March, 2025 will make it 19 years ago that you left this sin filled and wicked world. The Confused State of Mind

The development of Nigeria's economy has regrettably suffered devastating setbacks due to illiteracy, mediocrity, corruption and compromised government institutions. Since the setbacks are systemic, all attempts to turning to the positive side of development have failed, while trial and error is now the acceptable approach Sadly, Those-in-Power are presently counting the number of days to handover while the economy continues to deteriorate. In several states of the federation, economic activities have declined drastically, this has compiled Nigerians to seek alternative means of income. These means are criminal in nature. Interestingly, unfolding events suggest that terrorism, ritual killings, banditry, kidnappings and other violent crimes have become sources of livelihood not only for those outside government service, but for those in service. The situation is not abating, and the criminals are not relenting, even as tears, sorrows and blood characterize living in different parts of the country. Those-in-Power ought to salvage the almost helpless situation, but for their confused state of mind.

Oyo Government not taking our welfare seriously-Health Workers

  Some health workers in Oyo state have expressed reservations over the continued delay of the state government to meet their demands. The health workers, who are members of the Nigeria Union of Allied Health Professionals(NUAHP), Hospital Management Board unit, lamented that the state government ''is not taking our welfare seriously.'' ''The state government has continued to treat health workers on its payroll with levity. We are not happy about this, the government should urgently address our demands, they stated. However, the chairman of the unit, Comrade Olanrewaju Ajani disclosed that of all the demands of the health workers, the state government had only reviewed the hazard allowance. This assertion was made by the convener of the Federal Workers Forum, Comrade Andrew Emelieze.
