The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people. They take from the poor to enrich themselves. This is not the promise they made. Of great worry, is the naked fact that they are now very desperate to cling to transient power. The Acquisition of Knowledge

 Nigerian society revolves around rumor bandied tradition.

This largely explains why the pursuit of knowledge is based on other considerations and not for knowledge's sake.

Irrespective of the number of educational institutions at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels across the country, it is still an illiterate society.

The implantation of widespread falsehood and ignorance is very disturbing.

Indeed, the non-nonchalant  and carefree attitude of the citizenry towards acquiring knowledge is a reflection of the faulty selection process of the leadership at all levels of government.
