The Power of God to Salvation

The word of God has tremendous power.

The first time on record God spoke, He created light (Gen. 1:3).

He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2).

God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16).

Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life.

It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly.

So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message.

Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save.

 Olorunsogo, Molete, Ibadan, Oyo state- A Den of Young and Old Criminals

The leadership at all levels of government in the Federal Republic of Nigeria have failed millions of Nigerians. It is very obvious.

Indeed, the disturbing justice system and the questionable law enforcement agencies have over-time played crucial roles in the earlier mentioned failure.

For several years, the house owners' association, residents and criminal elements who happen to be their children and wards, have relentlessly harassed, intimidated, attacked and robbed the occupant of 3, Kehinde Aderibigbe street, Olorunsogo, Molete.

Sadly, those in charge of the protection of lives and property are complicit.

Indeed, the block of four flats has been repeatedly vandalized and robbed. This has resulted in the carting away for property documents, valuables and property worth millions of Naira.

The ''CAVEAT EMPTOR: THIS HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE: BUYERS BEWARE SIGN '', written with black paint was cleaned off in the dead of the night by the criminal ring in the community, with the consent of the night guards and residents.

The criminals operate from a shopping complex, ''Amoke Mall'' and some other brothels in the community.

Of worry, is the initiation of underage boys and girls into the criminal ring.

Interestingly, the occupant, a Bonafide citizen has the fundamental human right to reside anywhere in Nigeria, but in Olorunsogo, Molete, Ibadan, the house owners' association and the residents have continuously covertly supported criminal elements who are their children and wards to undermine the fundamental human right of the occupant.

This is disturbing.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice.
