Caring for the People

Image
A number of mortals are broken, and urgent steps have to be taken to put them together again. Our God cares about our situation, and He has taken steps to retore us to wholeness. He came into the world in the person of Jesus Christ and He fashioned the church as His body so that ''the members should have the same care for one another.'' We should allow our Savior to make us care for people smashed in these perilous times. Care for others because God cares for you. Read Philippians 2: 12-24 The Depraved The absurd is the trend everywhere. Productivity no longer has set standards.  Warders at the different points of entry at the Agodi Correctional Center request for money before visitors can gain entrance to see inmates. All the institutions of law enforcement and justice have been heavily compromised to further the evil machinations of the depraved, while the people are ceaseless and persistent in their prayers for divine intervention.

Giving

To give in Christendom, is most importantly, a matter of the heart.

When love and care are the motives, giving becomes willing and generous.

The most tangible expression of this grace is monetary, whether to assist the poor, to support missionaries, or to assist Christians who are confronted with economic hardships.

Indeed, the highest motive of giving comes from deep down in the heart. Cultivate the habit of giving.

Lesser Figures and Unfolding Events

Nigeria presently operates a multi-party-political system, but an emerging desire is for a single party to thrive in the country's political firmament, while arm twisting, blackmail, and intimidation are the applications for membership drive.
Mao of China attained his goals through despotic means.

He did not, however, terrorize citizens, but rather ensured that the downtrodden were lifted up in every sphere of human life.
During Mao's reign, thousands of Chinese died of starvation and inhuman labor.

And he justified this cruelty to humanity as the price that had to be paid for the re-education of the Chinese.

The re-education also included the extermination of the heroes of the civil war and the old party chieftains.

In Nigeria, state actors continue to breach the constitution to achieve desired goals, even though the desired goals are not in tandem with the expectation of Nigerians.
For the country not to follow the tragic history of old Yugoslavia, justice, equity, tolerance, and the rule of law must be its foundation.
Sadly, lesser figures at all levels of government have emerged today, who now take advantage of the history that was created before now.

This has resulted in the massive misappropriation of limited funds and maladministration in a number of states and the center.

Coercion, intimidation, threats, blackmail and attacks have now been embraced by those who are desperate to cling to transient political power.
