 Let us pray that we may recognize the goodness and truth of God and also see through the veils of deceit and oppression.

The Local Scene

Good governance has taken a back seat in Nigeria, while the desperate bid to cling onto power, greed, and obsession for evil of those in charge continue to manifest in different forms.

Indeed, the interests of millions of Nigerians are no longer the priority, going by unfolding events.

Lawmakers in both chambers of the National Assembly and the State Houses of Assembly have long ceased to represent the electorate in Nigeria. This assertion was made by the convener of the Federal Workers Forum, Comrade Andrew Emelieze. ''For some years now, the elected representatives of Nigerians in both chambers of the National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly have stopped representing the people.
