Announcement This is to announce the passing on to glory of the elder sister of the Founder and Editor-in-Chief, The New Federation(news2day.emyspot.com), Mrs. Victoria Adebisi Ande, which occurred in the first week of January,2026 in Jos, Plateau state. She is survived by her daughter, Joy, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. May her gentle soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord. Amen. Burial arrangements as announced by the family. Ramadan Fast-Share with the Poor and Needy-BCOS RATTWAU Chairman


 Muslims all over the world have been called upon to share and assist the poor and needy during the 30-day Ramadan fast period.

This call was made by the chairman of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers' Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state(BCOS), Alhaji Kolapo Carew.

''We pray that this time next year everything will be okay. Before the 30-day fast period, we have been fasting. The prices of foodstuffs have gone beyond our reach. I appeal to fellow Muslim brothers and sisters to share with the poor and needy. Let us help each other. In addition, I want to use this opportunity to thank the Governor of Oyo state, Engineer, Seyi Makinde, for paying salaries on the 25th of every month. If not for Governor Makinde, the story would be different. We thank him,'' Comrade Carew stated.

Education-Gov Makinde has provided an enabling environment for teachers-Oyo NUT Chairman

This assertion was made by the convener of the Federal Workers Forum, Comrade Andrew Emelieze.
