The agony that sin brings into our lives is enormous and had numbing effect. It deadens our senses of touch with God and enables us to live without awareness of the ‘’injury and infection’’ that slowly damages our soul. Sin produces numbness in our spirit. Ramadan Fast-Share with the Poor and Needy-BCOS RATTWAU Chairman

Muslims all over the world have been called upon to share and assist the poor and needy during the 30-day Ramadan fast period.

This call was made by the chairman of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers' Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo state(BCOS), Alhaji Kolapo Carew.

''We pray that this time next year everything will be okay. Before the 30-day fast period, we have been fasting. The prices of foodstuffs have gone beyond our reach. I appeal to fellow Muslim brothers and sisters to share with the poor and needy. Let us help each other. In addition, I want to use this opportunity to thank the Governor of Oyo state, Engineer, Seyi Makinde, for paying salaries on the 25th of every month. If not for Governor Makinde, the story would be different. We thank him,'' Comrade Carew stated.
