The Power of God to Salvation

He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. Federal Workers warn on the Non-Payment of outstanding wage Award

 


Federal workers who are yet to receive four months of the Federal Government's announced wage award have warned that it could affect productivity.

The workers expressed reservations over the hardships and difficulties they were experiencing as a result of the non-payment of the arrears of the wage award.

''To start with, the Nigeria Labor Congress and the Trade Union Congress are dead in Nigeria, it is not possible to have functional unions, while workers are being subjected to such horrible  conditions of living because they do not have money. If the government is reluctant to clear the outstanding wage award, this could take its toll on the productivity of the workers. There is a saying that to whom much is given, much is expected, but in this instance nothing has been given. What do you expect?'' they asked.
