The Power of God to Salvation

  Join solomon2day@Gumroad The word of God has tremendous power. The first time on record God spoke, He created light (Gen. 1:3). He spoke a promise to Abraham (Gen. 17:15-19) and enabled Sarah to bear a child (Gen. 21:1-2). God still speaks with power today, and all who hear believe the gospel and are saved (Romans 1:1:16). Indeed, the message of Christ and His saving work on the cross can change the direction of person’s life. It has the power to reach the heart of that person you love and have prayed for ceaselessly. So, do not give up your witness. Be consistent in your daily work. Keep praying and sharing the gospel with others. It is a powerful message. Our words have power to influence; God’s word has power to save. Our certificate is a reward for hard work-UI VC


The Vice-chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Prof. Kayode Adebowale had disclosed that the university out its certificate as a reward for vigorous academic work.

Prof. Adebowale made this disclosure on Tuesday, the first day of the foundation anniversary and 2023 convocation ceremonies in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.

''The University of Ibadan is committed to academic excellence, and this makes it fly. We are confronted with brain drain, student attrition, and electricity problems. However, there is a need for the government to recognize the uniqueness of the university system. The certificate is not one that can be obtained on a platter, it is a reward for hard work,'' Prof. Adebowale stated.

The Message

 When Jesus Christ was about to conclude His sermon on the Mount, He told a story about two personalities who built houses, one on a rock and the other on sand. His aim was for His listeners to realize that those who heard His message and went away without putting it to practice were foolish. Jesus Christ expects us to take action on His message. Do we always practice the sermons we have heard? A sermon is not complete until it is put to practice. Read Matthew 7:24-29 Desperation to Cling to Transient Power  Those-in-Charge do not respect the people’s views, rather the leaders impose their self-driven agenda on the people.
