 Victims of mistreatment and injustice abound all over the world, who have deep wounds and lingering pains in their hearts. Their immediate natural response is best imagined. ​Repression and Suppression in Governance.


In sane climes, democracies thrive when law enforcement agencies are not converted to tools of repression and suppression.


Indeed, the desperation to silence dissenting voices has overwhelmed good governance in this dispensation.


Insensitivity, impunity and non-chalance have never been components of democracies.


Sadly, however, these are the signposts of the present in Africa's most populous black nation.

Everything has already gone wrong, as can be seen in unfolding events across the country.
