Prayer requires full concentration and focus. It is not, as usually suggested, a preparation for battle, but prayer is the battle. Prayer was the foundation of the work of Jesus Christ. Take note that prayer is not a request for assistance to carry out the work of God, rather it is the work itself. We should never misunderstand the importance of prayer, for prayer moves mountains.  The way of the exalted Lord is not the same as that of the ''powerful'' who live in material luxuries and protect themselves at the expense of the oppressed.

All power and glory belongs to Jesus Christ, who is an embodiment of selflessness and self-giving.

Embrace the acts of self-giving.


The Local Scene

The drift  continues unhindered,even though the dubious and questionable characters have gained in the whole world and no longer listen to the lamentations of the oppressed and downtrodden.

They are in a hurry to grab as much as possible because the hand writing on the wall indicates that there are ominous times ahead.

Lawmakers in both chambers of the National Assembly and the State Houses of Assembly have long ceased to represent the electorate in Nigeria. This assertion was made by the convener of the Federal Workers Forum, Comrade Andrew Emelieze.
